Ireland are looking to the future and have set up a high performance group - players they see as the scions of tomorrow. Already in the Ireland squad, of this elite group one such progeny is Leinster's Rob Kearney. Fortunately, this strapping sultry-eyed 20 year old wing was not monopolised by the senior journos who were far more interested in the semi-final draw for the Heineken Cup, so I took it upon my self to take advantage of the situation. And boy was he up for some banter; shy and retiring is not a description I would use for him...and to set the context of some his more tongue-in-cheek replies, Celebrity Big Brother 2007 was headlining every news bulletin at the time. Since then, Rob has represented Ireland 'A' against England and provided the only points they managed to muster against the England Saxons in their 5 - 32 defeat at Ravenhill.
