RFTG with the Bedford Blues at the 'sexy' 2009 Calendar Shoot. Dieux Du Stade? - Pah!

Winner of the Bedford Blues Competition, Stephanie, had the most amazing day with her favourite team yesterday. She brought her friend Alison (who just about managed to control herself during the shower shots) and both girls were treated to ring side seats for the Sexy 2009 Bedford Blues Calendar shoot.

The boys were certainly not Bashful Bedford, as the shower shots confirm! They were great sports and we had a fantastic day. Trish (above left) came along to offer her services as 'make up, stylist, photographers assistant, Jill's gofer' and anything else she could think of. Luckily she did not need to get her magic make-up box out (as she had brought her son's fishing box instead by mistake)  as the boys were naturally gorgeous anyway. Phew!

I spent most of my time behind the lens making the most of the scenery whilst Jason (official photographer) did his stuff. The sun shone and the muscles rippled. It certainly was a day to remember for all.

The calendar will be out in about 4 weeks time and will be available from the Blues online shop. We will also have some signed ones to give away as prizes.

Also, the good news is that Stephanie and Alison, now fuly fledged RFTG members, will be running a Bedford Blues page from our RFTG site sponsored by Bedford's local rugby pub, The Cricketers (who provided the RFTG team yesterday with a fab lunch - thank you Paul).
