Dianne and Sheila managed to get in amongst the boys after winning the RFTG competition for a day out at The Stoop with Harlequins Rugby League, and they took me with them! The day clashed with a Lions test but we managed to catch the second half before our own entertainment began.

Dianne grew up with rugby league so knew what was going on from the start, but it took me a little while to get used to the speed and the unifrom shape of the players (no chubby props here!!).

We were able to watch the match from the comfort of our own box which Abe from Triline Sports had kindly arranged for us on behalf of Puma and we met some interesting people over dinner before sitting down to the match.

Poor old Harlequins got a bit of a battering, it has to be said, so the atmosphere was a tad subdued in the players lounge after the match, but they all rallied round for a few awards ( I think Chad Randall won most things - pictured at bottom of photo) and of course they where up for a photo with the RFTG winners.
