On Sunday the 23rd November the Cornish Pirates are having a ladies day which will see the launch of our calender for 2009 for more detials visit cornish pirates website.

Promoting Cornwall to the full, the Cornish Pirates have been out and about baring all at locations around Cornwall, including lining up with the Air Ambulance which landed on the Pirates home pitch especially for the shot.

Amongst the 12 fantastic shots by up and coming Cornish photographer Rose Hatcher, the Pirates stars are photographed posing on a Tall Ship at Charlestown, peering through the tropical undergrowth at the Eden Project, braving the cold waters at Gwithian beach and even on top of Lanyon Quoit

The calendar was put together by Dania Shaw, Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Cornish Pirates, who had the tough job of directing the photoshoots and making sure the photos chosen were of the highest quality. Dania said "When I put it to the players I thought it would be difficult, but they've been brilliant. The main difficulty was finding sunny days when they weren't training, but thankfully for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, we got there in the end"
