Why do you love Rugby?
Being welsh I didn't have much choice! I kind of got born into the whole
rugby culture, and from the first time I went to watch my older cousin play
I was hooked!

Do you see yourself as a celebrity?
Nope!

Do you have a big female fan-base?
My mum and my sister make up the core and the outer layer of my fan base, so I guess the answer to that one would be no! but open to any newies!

How long and how often do you train?
Since I've been injured for almost four months, my training varies to that of the rest of the squad. I usually train my body every day for 2-3 hours, but there's work to be done outside of this on my mental preparation, video analysis and so on.

Do you use male beauty products?
Does toothpaste count?

What's your favourite food?
Steak and eggs (definitely no chips)

What do you do to get rid of nerves before a match?
I just do my usual aimless ambling whilst listening to a bit of music. I just don't really think about it to be honest!

Did you ever play football (soccer)?
Yes. I was rubbish so I sacked it off!

What are your feelings about the fact that football is the most popular sport in the UK?
Good for them. They earn’t it! Besides, rugby's the number one sport in Wales, and that's all that counts! Although a lot of my mates follow different soccer teams, I'm not really that interested in it to be honest.

Did anyone else in your family play professional Rugby?
Nope, but my mother played lacrosse for Wales, and my aunty rowed for Wales in two commonwealth games, so I guess there's a good sporting pedigree in the family!

What is your club nickname?
Simmsy, Frodo or the latest that Neil Starling's come up with is ‘Brick Tamlin’!
