A message from Jill

When I first discovered Rugby and all the added extras that comes along with the sport i.e. the guys themselves, I searched for photographs of players without ‘mud and mouthguards’ and discovered there actually were very few. Action shots galore – but very little else.

‘What a shame’ I thought and in fact – what a waste!

These guys work very, very hard to achieve the level of fitness required to play week in and week out so it’s time we gave them the credit they deserve, off the pitch as well as on.

We have approached many premiership players and the majority of them are really keen to get ‘off pitch’ portfolios for commercial use and for a keepsake for their families.

Hence the creation of the Dreamsquad. In the early photoshoot with our Dover Sharks we discovered a couple of prime candidates, Ben and Adam, who you can see featured if you register to become a member and log on to the Dreamsquad.

So, we are now arranging for photoshoots to be carried out with some of the boys and we will try to cater for all tastes – but let's face it – they're all gorgeous. We are also preparing a viewing gallery for you and downloads will be available for your desktop free of charge for registered members to brighten up your icons, we're also putting downloads together for your mobiles.

So keep logging on over the weeks and months ahead – be patient – good things are worth waiting for. The boys have heavy schedules so fitting in a shoot is not all that easy.

A photographer who has worked with rugby players in the past and who has produced some beautiful works of art is Nigel Riches. He photographed the naked squad calendar in 2001 which immediately sold out and raised funds for a charity supported by Sir Clive.
